LV Sublime

A wine born from two extraordinary estates in the heart of Alentejo - Herdade da Perescuma and Herdade do Zambujal do Conde - crafted by Manuel Lobo, a winemaker whose roots span over two centuries of Portuguese viticulture. Fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, the grapes are rigorously hand sorted before vinification. Extended skin contact builds depth and structure, followed by ageing in French oak, where the wine develops its characteristic roundness and complexity. Deep violet in the glass. On the nose, wild dark berries, ripe blackcurrant and a whisper of balsamic layered with fine spice and gentle oak. On the palate, generous and silky with polished tannins and a long, persistent finish that lingers well beyond the last sip. A wine with a true sense of place. Perfect alongside grilled red meats, slow-roasted lamb, game, and aged Portuguese cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C.
